On December 6th, Palazzo Buontalenti hosted the ModelEU Florence, an event involving master’s students from the International Relations and European Studies program at the University of Florence, alongside colleagues from James Madison University and the School of Transnational Governance (EUI), in a simulation of the EU Foreign Affairs Council.
Guided by EU ambassadors and professors, participants worked on drafting Council Conclusions on the conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine, developing practical skills in European decision-making processes. Now in its 15th edition, the initiative aims to train young experts in international diplomacy.
