The course will focus on the developments of the transatlantic relations. It will analyse the European system in the XIX century, the origins of the United States as world power and the creation and the developments of the Atlantic community during the Cold War.

Development of the relations between Europe and the United States in the XX century. The cours will focus on the period of the Cold War and on the crisis in the Atlantic solidarity.
