Learning Objectives
The aim of the course is to provide students with the textual-analitical tools necessary to achieve an adequate level of autonomy in linguistic analysis and textual production in a contrastive perspective.
Prerequisites
Level C1, European Framework of reference (receptive skills).

Frontal teaching with students' active participation, seminars.

Type of Assessment
Final written exam
(having passed C1 Test is mandatory) for all students, both attending and non-attending.
The exam (1 hour) will be articulated into two parts:
- the first one based on quantitative analysis,
- the second one on qualitative analysis.
Course program
During the course
the logical structure of the English Language will be approached (including a contrastive perspective with the Italian Language) through its linguistic elements to help students
- improve their linguistic skills and
- achieve a good level of autonomy in a critical reading and writing of a political-international text.
The course includes the writing of the text:
"TrustEU - A new linguistic proposal" to be presented at the Jean Monnet Project 'TrustEU'.
