The first module proposes different sociological approaches to the study of
social citizenship and social solidarity related to the deep transformations
of European societies and the global context. The focus is on social
changes due to both exogenous and endogenous factors, on the crisis of
social policy and the welfare state, on new demands for social citizenship
and well-being linked to emerging social inequalities.
