Course Content
Il corso analizzerà la questione dei livelli di analisi nell'ambito di una polity complessa come l'UE.
Metterà in rilievo i principali attori e fattori rilevanti del processo decisionale. Sottolineerà il loro mutamento nel corso dello sviluppo del processo di unificazione europea. Analizzerà gli sviluppi riguardo la governance dell'Eurozona,in particolare lo European Stability Mechanism Treaty e il Treaty on Stability, Coordination and Governance in theEconomic and Monetary Union (TSCG).
Prerequisites
It is useful if students have already some knowledge about the EU basic institutions and historical developments.

The course will first analyse the issues of the different levels of analysis of a complex polity such as the EU. It will
highlight the main actors and relevant factors in the decision-making process at the different levels. It will emphasize
how they changed with the development of the European unification process. It will analyse the most recent
developments regarding the Eurozone governance, particularly the European Stability Mechanism Treaty and the
Treaty on Stability, Coordination and Governance in the Economic and Monetary Union (TSCG).
